Stevenage Leisure Ltd (SLL) has received national recognition with the award of ‘Serving The Consumer: Best Business’ at the WOW Awards Gala Ceremony, held recently in London. SLL saw off stiff competition from regional and national companies, such as Richer Sounds, to land the award.

SLL manages 17 diverse leisure and cultural centres across Stevenage, North Hertfordshire, Central Bedfordshire and Rutland working in partnership with 4 local authorities and the Knights Templar School.

The WOW! Awards are a truly unique way of raising customer service standards by providing a way for customers to tell organisations when they have an outstanding customer experience. It’s a great way of engaging customers, employees and managers. It’s all about catching people doing things right!

Richard Allan, Divisional Operations Manager said “We try and go the extra mile; every member of the team is empowered to do what it takes to make every customer experience good. The finalists were judged by an independent panel of experts from high profile British organisations, media and academia who described SLL as “showing trust, respect and a positive culture. Stevenage Leisure Ltd really do WOW their customers”.
