The Dragons Apprentice Challenge kicks off again at the end of September and the schools will be coming back to me at the beginning of term to let Cindy from Connect Dacorum know how many teams they will be putting forward.

Cindy is am still searching for a number of business mentors (Dragons) to help guide these teams through the challenge and help turn their business ideas into reality. Previous Dragons have come from a wide variety of businesses – from large corporates to one man businesses.  All they need is your advice and time and the challenge does provide publicity for your business.

f you are interested in becoming a Dragon, or you know someone who would, please contact Cindy (Cindy.Withey@dacorum.gov.uk).

Your involvement would be twofold.   Firstly the cost. You would need to provide £50 towards the initial £100 for the team. The other £50 will come from the charity. There is also a £200 participation fee which is put towards the final awards evening which is being held at Shendish Manor Hotel in April 2016.

Secondly, and most importantly, your time.  Your representative will need to attend a minimum of five meetings.  If you think you could spare the resource and time for the challenge, do register your interest.
