Nine Lives Media, a multi-award winning independent television production company are currently on the hunt for bosses to take part in a new series for the BBC.

The premise of the show is that the company boss, owner, hotelier etc. would live on a minimum wage income for two weeks. Think Undercover Boss meets The Secret Millionaire! They’ll still be able to do their normal job but will have to adapt their lifestyle according to their new budget.

Nine Lives has an excellent reputation for making factual programmes and current affairs.

Recent productions include: Pound Shop Wars for BBC One, which attracted 4.5 million viewers making it the highest rating original factual programme of its week; An acclaimed authored film with Ruby Wax for Channel 4’s mental health season; An authored investigation into internet bullying with Richard Bacon for BBC Three called The Anti-Social Network; A CBBC documentary, Me, My Dad and his Kidney, which has just won a BAFTA for best factual children’s programme.
