Local law firm, Debenhams Ottaway raises over £7,000 in one week for charity

Last week Hertfordshire law firm Debenhams Ottaway held its second Charity Week. This time it was in aid of their chosen charities for the year Mind in Mid Herts and St Albans Museums and Galleries Trust. The week raised over £2,200 which was matched by Debenhams Ottaway, in addition to another £3,000 raised for a charity bike ride in Cuba. All in all raising over £7,000.

Cash Boost For Small Firms in Rural Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire LEP’s allocation of European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), is
now open to grant applications from micro and small businesses in Hertfordshire’s rural areas.
The grants are designed to assist with capital investment to create new jobs.

BCC: ‘Two-tier’ growth continues, with alarm bell for trade aspirations

The British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) - Britain's largest and most authoritative private sector business survey, based on almost 7,500 responses from firms, employing around 800,000 people – shows that Britain’s two-tier growth trend continues. While both manufacturing and service balances were generally weaker this quarter, manufacturing balances declined to a much larger extent than in services.
